
Please my sweet tooth please! Just because you are trying to lose weight, does not mean you have to deprive yourself of everything. In fact, if you are trying to make a lifestyle change and want to succeed, you should allow yourself to eat those “forbidden” things every once in awhile.
Looking for some low calorie alternatives to candy, cake, and ice-cream? Here are some yummies to be sure to keep in the fridge and pantry for when your sweet tooth calls to you…
- Sugar Free Jello topped with 2 tbsp cool whip
- Individual cup of apple sauce
- 1/2 cup sorbet or frozen yogurt
- Individual cup of yogurt
- 1 cup frozen grapes
- 1 sugar free popsicle
- Dip strawberry slices in sugar free chocolate pudding or drizzle a melted mini chocolate bar on top
- Any fruit of course
- Take 1 pack of sugar free hot chocolate mix, 1 Tbls peanut butter, and add 1-2 Tbls boiling water till it looks like a thick paste you can freeze it or eat it like that or add yogurt or nuts or something it tastes like a candy bar yummy. (from friend, S.H.)
- In a tall glass, in 1/2 inch layers place Dannon Vanilla Yogurt, bananas and Crushed Nilla Wafers. Keep repeating the layers until you almost reach the top of the glass … then top with Cool Whip. I get to call it low-cal because I use Yogurt instead of pudding. (from friend, G.M.)
