2009 is wrapping to an end very quickly so you know what that means?
Time to refresh goals for the year.
They say goals need to be attainable and specific in your wish to keep them going. For some goals you could even set up rewards for completion. They also say that you don’t want a list that is too long. Concentrate on what’s the most important for you.
So here are mine…
ME/PERSONAL
- Read at least 1 personal book of choice every month…
- Have at least 30min of “me time” everyday…
ME/HEALTH
- Take stairs UP to 3rd floor at least 1x daily at work…
- End the day with my yoga stretches at least 5x a week…
- Include a vegetable AND a fruit with every meal…
FAMILY
- Designate a “mommy & me” time at least 1x a week with one of the kids…
- Have a monthly “date night” with DH…
MONEY
- Auto-pay bills now that I’m working full time again (house, insurance, vehicle loans at the minimum)…
- Save $2K by mid November by putting money to the side into a separate account every pay period…
I figure these are small steps towards a better life balance and less stress for me.
