Impressed? Went to bed around 2am and woke up before 7am. I’m a mom, I don’t REQUIRE sleep. Or so my family thinks…
Peanut was soooo kind to wake me this morning. He was so overjoyed and excited to be going back to school today after being home yesterday complaining of an upset stomach (yet I swear he sure acted fine). SOOO overjoyed and excited he jarred me from sleep walking by vomiting all over my bare feet! I suppose I SHOULD thank him for forcing me to finally mop the dingy kitchen floor…
That’s some impressive barf up there, isn’t it??? EWWW!!! That’s FAKE LATEX BARF by the way…Do you REALLY think I’d leave it long enough to take a picture of all over my feet??? And by the way…that’s NOT an image from my home…that’s a NASTY DIRTY floor!! While I may take pics at odd moments, believe me, taking a picture of it is the last thing I’d want to do…
So what else could I possibly do before 7am without waking the rest of the house after getting him settled back down for sleep? Toss a load into the laundry, make a pot of coffee (NOT! I’ve run out!! EEE), scope out some blogs, and tweet to myself since obviously NOBODY else is awake to talk to me…Oh wait! A TweetDeck notification! Someone tweeted to me that they’ve been “listening” and so I’m not alone after all! LOL
Geez…I STARTED this before 7 and looky here…it’s after 8 and I’m still blogging (and I’ve HARDLY blogged to begin with…lol). Ladybug has 20 minutes to finish getting ready so I can take her to school and here I am really just getting started, getting into a momentum. These are moments I wish she were old enough to drive! LOL Oh come on…you other parents out there know that deep down inside you anticipate the days of chauffeuring to be over and my days have really just begun for this pre-teen.
OK…so after scoping out other gift guides and blogs this morning, I’ve come up with MY Christmas list…Hey, if the kids can make wish lists, why can’t I??? Yeah…I know…amazing how I can turn a post from vomit to my Christmas Wish List so easily! LOL
