Once applied to a hard surface, it continues killing germs for at least 24 hours.

I'd use this in my classroom activity centers.

The active ingredient in IV-7 Ultimate Germ Defense™ is SDC (silver dihydrogen citrate). It is an electrolytically generated source of stabilized ionic silver that kills germs in two ways: (1) Microbes are attracted to SDC as a food source, allowing the silver ion to enter the microbe. Once inside, the silver ion de-natures the microbe’s DNA, which stops its ability to replicate and kills it; (2) The silver ion also deactivates the microbe’s membrane proteins, killing it.

Because IV-7 Ultimate Germ Defense destroys the germs, they don’t develop resistance to it!
