About Me

Hi! I am a mom in her 30s who has many things going through her mind.
What more can I say…hmmm…I’m down to earth. I’m a jeans gal who hates pointy toe shoes and spike heels BUT loves some chunky heels that of course make me look taller than 5’1″.
I’m currently doing some freelance writing, editing, and book promoting. Work full time outside of the home. Attend school online full time, studying business. And of course heavily engaged with my active family which consist of 3 children (4-Little One, 9-Peanut, 10-Ladybug), hubby of almost 10 years (June 10,2010), and 2 female cats (ShuShu & ChiChi). Between school, work, soccer, football, and hopefully soon gymnastics we’re always on the go always looking for ways to better manage our lifestyles. My own personal goal is to get back into shape so I can join a female soccer team. It’s possible!
The end of last year (2009) brought on a major life change for me as well as a time when I finally got my first tattoo (and boy did I go all the way!) that represents my past, present and future.
You can find my book blog at The Book Faery Reviews (http://tbfreviews.net). I review books, interview authors, host guest posts from various authors, give away books, and talk about books in general. I’ve met some interesting and very down to earth authors in my 2 years of book blogging as The Book Faery. One day I’d like to have my own independent cafe/bookstore in an old renovated house downtown somewhere. I have so many ideas for this and have been working on a business plan but of course waiting for that windfall or opportunity to get the financial assistance to make my dream a reality.
I love anything geeky (yeah I’m a dork, I love technology…the more complicated the more fun it is for me…lol). I get bored easily so you’ll often find me learning a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I love to learn new things. I’ve studied web design, photography, interior design, psychology, computer programming, business, and music.
I’m the queen of multi-tasking and procrastination but I get the job done. Chaos works for me, keeps the blood flowing, and surprisingly produces my better work!!
