Notes from Farrah is an eclectic blog written by a working mom of 3 who’s married to her HS Sweetheart. She writes about her personal journey towards a more balanced, happy and peaceful life, parenting, womanhood, marriage, local Raleigh events, and products that make life easier to manage or more entertaining.
I love anything nerdy and geeky and I love to learn new things. I’ve studied marketing, web design, graphic design, photography, interior design, psychology, computer programming, business, and even music over the years.
I work full time in membership marketing while raising 3 active kids (8-Little One, 13-Peanut, 14-Ladybug) with Hubby who I’ve pretty much grown up with over the past 21 years (suddenly I feel old). I’m currently striving towards a happier, healthier, and balanced life, doing some creative writing and book/product/event promotions. Between school, work and on the go we’re always looking for ways to better live, enjoy, and manage our lifestyles.
You can find my book blog at The Book Faery Reviews (http://tbfreviews.net). I review books, interview authors, host guest posts from various authors, give away books, and talk about books in general. I’ve met some interesting and very down to earth authors in my 5+ years of book blogging as The Book Faery.
“I can not live without my books.” (Thomas Jefferson)
“And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count.
It’s the life in your years.” (Abraham Lincoln)
“If you have never been hated by your child
you have never been a parent.” (Bette Davis)
