MY THOUGHTS…Easy download without disks or complicated install to your PC. It’s been awhile since I found a fun PC game that had me glued for several hours at a time. The first night I started playing this game I played for 4 hours non-stop and had to force myself to quit! If you enjoy solving puzzles you’ll enjoy this game. I enjoy picture find games too which you’ll do a lot of here as well. Some puzzles and find easier than others and then the ones that are a bit challenging will have you glued until you get it solved. The game kind of reminded me of a comic book but voices. It was a fun game but I must admit I was a bit disappointed in the ending. Like a book I wanted the story to continue.

OVERALL THOUGHT…Thumbs Up! If I had to purchase this game, I don’t think $6.99 is a bad deal to play this puzzle game.

If only you could wear those glasses that have open and alert eyes painted on when the energy is feeling low! One friend suggested back bends (see image) but who’s honestly going to do those in open view of your office peeps? I can just imagine that scene! LOL

So what are things one can do to get past those moments of fog?

1) Get up out of your chair and walk around the office a bit. Perhaps one take the stairs for a round or instead of emailing or interoffice mailing to someone within the office, go visit them.

2) Keep peppermint candies handy or even sniff/dab peppermint oil on a tissue or cloth to wake up your senses.

3) Go to the bathroom and do a quick “jump up/down” or waist bends when nobody’s around. At least here the whole office isn’t staring at you.

4) Do some neck & shoulder rolls.

5) Stretch your arms up and out in front of you while seated to stretch your back and shoulders.

You know it’s Earth month. You know there are tons and tons of ways to be more green and more conscious of our planet. You know Earth month/day is not just that month or that day. It’s every month and every day of that month! It’s not too late to save and replenish for our future kids, grand-kids, and the rest of our legacy!

On earth day I plan on cutting off all electricity (well…not major appliances of course; still no indoor cooking). Oh it will cause tears I’m sure at first when the game systems and tv will remain off. Tears not only from the kids but hubby too. We’ll go back to the old days when we played outdoor games or ride our bikes around. We’ll pull out the board games, the jacks, and cards. We’ll cook on the grill (not gas) and have an evening picnic. Then we’ll lay on our backs and look up at the sky sharing the images we find up above. We’ll illuminate in the dark house by candle light while we tell stories. Then we’ll finally have a good night’s rest…

Then that day and all others to proceed we’ll recycle more, re-build more, save more, grow more, and love our earth more.

1. Download music rather than buying packaged CDs to load on your MP3 player. Download movies to your game system, mobile device, or computer to save on DVD packaging. You can even connect your laptop to your TV so you can watch movies you’ve downloaded on your laptop on the big screen.
2. Turn off all electronic items (yes even the phones) for a day (or even the weekend) and enjoy quality time with the family. Go outside and enjoy nature, play traditional games (cards, board games, etc), and grill outdoors.
3. Walk or ride a bike more locally instead of driving short distances. Or take the local bus if time is not an issue.
4. Check out books from the library, borrow from a friend, or download to an e-reader or MP3 player if there is an audio book available.
5. Wash when you have a full load and hang dry outdoors in the sun. It wouldn’t hurt to even wear some clothes again before washing (like jeans or “nice” clothes that are not likely to get dirty).
6. Grow your own herb and salad garden. Perhaps even share one w/ a neighbor.
7. Collect water in water barrels to use to water plants and gardens.
8. Grill out more to avoid overheating the inside when the weather gets warmer. Heating the house while the AC is on causes a rise in electricity use. Where it’s cooler, bake more to warm the inside.
9. When it’s warmer outside, close the blinds and curtains during the day to keep the inside cooler so you’re not working the heat more unnecessarily.
10. Bring your cloth bags into the stores when you’re purchasing items rather than using the plastic bags they provide. In some stores they offer a discount off your total price or even give you back $.5 – $.10 for each bag your bring.

My goodness…working full time, going to school, caring for the family, reading, reviewing, and blogging is insanely time consuming! I wonder now when there’s time just for me! I’ve not blogged and read as much as I’ve wanted (though I’m trying to get it back like before instead of “cramming” on the weekends).

At work I crunch numbers all day in spreadsheets and throwing them into pretty graphs and soon helping the team with presentations for the executives. My mom told me this morning she was happy I’m using my math again! I told her I’m like a computer in thought…if I can make it automate why not? So macros, formulas and more formulas in Excel are my new best friends! LOL Finally perfecting my formulas so work will go much smoother in the long run. So when someone needs a report, I pull the data, run the macro, tweak a bit, and zip all done!

At home, things have been on the weird side…DH has been home much of this week and working evenings and has been “re-organizing” things to the point I can’t find things I need without asking him! While I like the fact that he’s reorganizing things, it frustrates me too! LOL Now I’m trying to convince him to get the dinners ready since I get home between 6:30 and 7 most evenings after work and getting the kids. We’ll see…I might have to cook on weekends to freeze so he can easily throw something into the oven before everyone gets home!

Friday he was home with the 3 year old and I thought it was HILARIOUS listening to him “spaz out” trying to run errands and clean house with her! HILARIOUS! Something he is SOOO not accustomed to. I wanted to say…”I told you so…” but of course held that in with a huge grin on my face.

Tell me…does your significant other happen to be more of the “homemaker” as mine has been recently while work picks up for him? Or did it take him some time to get accustomed to the new role? I know mine’s proud and he’s not used to being home most of the time…

Tell me this too…if you’re working full time, when do you fit the blogging, reviewing, reading time in with family, work, and maybe even school like me? There was a time when this could all easily be done but I’m wondering if aging has given me less stamina!

Yesterday I finished up my upper back tattoo and am VERY pleased with the end result. The total piece took about 7 hrs broken into 3 sessions of course. I first started with a rose on my right back shoulder to represent my oldest daughter who’s middle name is Rose; this took an hour. Then I decided that since I had a thing with 3s I’d add 2 more roses to complete my “past, present, and future”. That took another 2 hours. THEN I decided I wanted to have it all connected together so yesterday I spent 4 more hours adding in the background. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!
